Chen-Yuan Yang Chief, Department of Orthopedics Surgery, Kuang Tien General Hospital

Chen-Yuan Yang
Dr. Chen-Yuan Yang currently serves as the Division Director of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery and as the Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Kuang Tien General Hospital. He is also supervisor of the Taiwan Orthopaedic Trauma Association and national faculty of AO Trauma Taiwan. Following his fellowship training in microsurgery and wrist arthroscopy at the Department of Orthopedics, E-Da Hospital, and the Department of Hand Surgery, Beijing Ji Shui Tan Hospital, Dr. Yang has been practicing as a hand surgeon for more than ten years. His clinical interest and research publication primarily focus on two areas: 1. Reconstructive microsurgery, which includes finger and limb replantation, flap reconstruction, brachial plexus injury, peripheral nerve injury, and free vascularized fibular graft; 2. Wrist arthroscopic surgery, encompassing arthroscopic-assisted reduction of intra-articular distal radius fracture and arthroscopic transosseous TFCC foveal footprint repair. As a hand surgeon and trauma surgeon, Dr. Chen-Yuan Yang is dedicated to ensuring that patients suffering from acute injuries or chronic complications could return to their daily activities with improved quality of life following surgical interventions.
