Dr. Roongsak Limthongthang accomplished his hand and microsurgery fellowship at the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, under the supervision of Prof. Panupan Songcharoen in 2009. Subsequently, he pursued further professional development through various international fellowships, including a Research Fellowship at The Philadelphia Hand Center, Philadelphia, PA, USA (2012), another at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, USA (2013), and an International Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at UC Irvine Medical Center, Orange, CA, USA, in 2014. Dr. Roongsak Limthongthang has a specific emphasis on hand and upper extremity trauma, peripheral nerve and brachial plexus injuries, microsurgery, as well as wrist and elbow arthroscopic surgeries. In recognition of his expertise, he was appointed as an associate professor in 2020 and took on the role as the head of the Hand and Microsurgery Unit in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Siriraj Hospital.
