Jung-Pan Wang Attending Physician, Department of Orthopedics, Taipei Veterans General Hospital

Dr. Jung-Pan Wang was trained in Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He got the Board of Orthopaedics in 2004, and he got the Board of Hand Surgery in 2005. He started to serve in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery from 2008. He devoted himself to the hand and microsurgery. In 2014, he was supported by the Department and trained as a Research Fellow in the Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. After coming back from the United States, he kept on serving in Division of Hand and Microsurgery. Professional Activities 2005- Member of Taiwan Orthopaedic Association 2006- Member of Taiwan Society for Surgery of the Hand 2012- Member of Orthopaedic Research Society 2015 Member of American Society for Surgery of the Hand 2016- Vice Secretary of Taiwan Orthopaedic Trauma Association 2017- Associate Professor, National Yang-Ming University 2018- Division Chair, Division of Hand and Microsurgery, Department of Orthopaedics, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan 2019- Editor Board reviewer, Journal of Hand Surgery; Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume) 2020- Executive Council Member of Taiwan Society for Surgery of the Hand 2022-23 Award of Sympol of National Quality 2024- President elect, TSSH Dr. Wang has published more than 90 scientific articles in local and international Journals (16 in Journal of Hand Surgery). He is an expert in upper limb trauma, stem cells research, microsurgery, wrist arthroscope and peripheral nerve surgery.
