The management of Kienbock’s disease managed by arthroscopy-assisted decompression and bone grafting.
Material and methods: Patients presented with central wrist pain were diagnosed on clinical suspicion and underwent radiographs initially and MRI scans subsequently. All of our cases had sclerosis of lunate without collapse and also neutral ulna variance. Patient age ranged from 24 to 45 years, there were 2 males and 2 females in our very short series.
MRI scans were suggestive of early Kienbock’s disease presenting early without lunate collapse and having a neutral ulna variance, this method offers a very effective way to treat this subset of patients.
