  • Received American Transplant Congress Young Investigator Award, The Transplantation Society Travel Award, AST Annual Scientific Exchange Young Innovator Award in 2011, and AST Cutting Edge of Transplantation Young Innovator Award in 2014
  • Received Best Reconstruction Option of the Year Award (Taiwan Society of Plastic Surgery) in 2012, Best Salvage in the Hand Award (Taiwan Society for Surgery of the Hand) in 2013, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery® Best Paper Award in 2021
  • Selected for the inaugural Fu-Chan Wei Young Microsurgeon Lecture Award (Taiwan Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery) in 2017
  • Director of Clinical Trial for Hand & Upper Extremity Allotransplantation at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, and performed the 1st bilateral forearm transplantation and the 1st arm transplantation in Taiwan

Publications:

  • Authored more than 130 original publications in peer-reviewed journals (h-index: 27), written five textbook chapters and two video chapters on reconstructive microsurgery subjects, co-edited one book and written two book chapters on vascularized composite allotransplantation subjects.
