Tran Nguyen Phuong Deputy Head, Orthopaedic Surgery, University Medical Center HCMC

I am a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with nearly two decades of experience, specializing in musculoskeletal diseases, orthopedic injuries, and sports medicine. I am currently the Deputy Head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University Medical Center HCMC, Vietnam. My educational journey includes an M.D. from Hanoi Medical University (2002) and an M.Sc. (2009). I furthered his expertise through international training, including trauma emergency training in Japan, orthopedic trauma training in the USA, and arthroscopy and Sports Medicine fellowship in France. The field of orthopaedics that I find particularly intriguing is sports medicine, with a specific focus on the practice of arthroscopy. My PhD thesis is about arthroscopic TFCC repair.
