Dr. Chung-Chen Hsu, MD, completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2004 and has provided his attending staff service to date in the Trauma division, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He dedicated his practice in the management of complicated traumatic wounds that are referred either acutely or sub-acutely for immediate or secondary reconstructions. Dr. Hsu continued his training in hand surgery at Mayo Clinic in 2009, where he subspecialized in finger joint reconstruction and congenital hand deformity reconstruction. He is committed to treating children with born deformity of the hand after his return to Taiwan.
Dr. Hsu has written and published 110 articles for his surgical approaches to reconstructive challenges, including his novel concepts in distal phalanx replantation, wide-awake anesthesia for hand microsurgery, and soft tissue or bony microsurgical reconstructions.
