Dr. Wei-Chih Wang is an Attending Physician of Hand Surgery at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, China Medical University Hsinchu Hospital, Hsinchu, Taiwan. With over 5 years of extensive experience in Orthopedic-Hand surgery, Dr. Wang is dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and improving patient care in the field of hand surgery. Dr. Wang completed a Clinical Fellowship in Hand Surgery and Microsurgical Reconstruction Surgery at the China Medical University Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan, from August 2022 to July 2023 under the mentorship of Dr. Yung-Cheng Chiu. His training included microsurgery, wrist arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, treatment of general hand diseases, hand fractures, peripheral nerve diseases, and brachial plexus injuries. In addition to his fellowship, Dr. Wang has undergone advanced fellowship training in wrist arthroscopy at the Taoyuan Armed Forces General Hospital with Dr. Jui-Tien Shih (2022-2023), and further specialized training in wrist arthroscopy at Sanno Hospital, Tokyo, Japan with Prof. Toshiyasu Nakamura (2023). He also received training in wrist arthroscopy and minimally invasive spine surgery at Osaka Global Orthopedic Hospital with Prof. Keiji Fujio (2023). Dr. Wang is passionate about utilizing wrist arthroscopy to treat TFCC, SL injuries, and CMC OA among other related conditions. His research and clinical interests focus on integrating novel surgical methods and biological reconstruction to enhance patient outcomes. He has published several papers in reputable journals, contributing to the field's body of knowledge.
