Dr. Dawn Chia

Dr Dawn Chia is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery Service at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Sengkang General Hospital. Her sub-specialty interest is in peripheral nerve surgery and paediatric hand conditions, and her work mainly focuses on restoring limb functionality from paralysis and nerve disorders. She holds academic positions as a Clinical Assistant Professor with Duke NUS Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine NUS. Dr Chia is the current President of the Association of Women Doctors Singapore and sits on the executive committee of the Singapore Society for Hand Surgery; organizing professional events and conferences, as well as local and regional hand surgery and healthcare outreach projects.
